Word Mastery: Standardized Test

Hi, I'm D-Wade and below, you will see a list of words that my favorite teacher in the world assigned to you. So you know, these words, show up on most "high stake/standardized tests." For each term, I want you to complete 3 items.

1) Describe each word in your own words, 2) create a sentence using the term in the sentence (use it in context), and 3) tell me how you can remember this term. Perform each step for each term, kind of like a V.I.S chart.

And by the way, do your homework, read, and study hard, so you can be cool like me! Oh yeah, be kind to Mr. Jones, he is an old man who does it best!

1) Trace
2) Analyze
3) Infer
4) Evaluate
5) Formulate
6) Describe
7) Support
8) Explain
9) Summarize
10) Compare
11) Contrast
12) Predict
