So, you are running a Political Campaign….huh?

*This is how you will do it!

A) Choose a Candidate:

Group I
Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama, Bill Richardson.

Group II
Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo, Fred Thompson.

B) Campaign Staff and Campaign Manager

Develop platform
• Platform (Economy, Defending the border/terrorism, Iraq, Foreign policy, Healthcare, Education, Immigration, Abortion, Gay marriages/faith related issues, Civil liberties)
*What are the views of your candidate on these issues (summary of views must be known for platform and written for portfolio)?

Promote your candidate on the campaign trail. Create the following:
• T-Shirts
• Posters
• Flyers
• Stickers
• Bumper stickers
• Other souvenir items
• Video (extra credit)

C) The Portfolio/FINAL RUN
-Develop website (print out page/blog can be used as sub)
-Celebrity Endorsements (get pictures and place in binder and on poster board)
-Financial Contributors (minimum 3 financial commitments written)
-The summary of political issues (each issue should reflect the views of the candidate).


*Be prepared to campaign/market for your candidate. Remember the issues!
